A memorial service was held Friday morning at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Mary Ann Lawrence Periera, 79, of Jamestown. The former Hughson resident died Sunday, May 29, 2005 at Sonora Regional Medical Center.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 7, 1926, Mrs. Periera was a native of Hughson, and was raised in that community. She lived in Jamestown for seven months. Mrs. Periera was a homemaker and a member of the Turlock Horsemen's Club. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and traveling.
Mrs. Periera leaves behind two children, John Allen Periera of Jamestown and David Angelo Periera of Hickman; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Periera.
