A Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Forest Lake, Minn., for Mary Elizabeth Griffin Peloquin, 95, Hughson. She died Tuesday, April 19, 2005.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Forest Lake under the direction of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary.
Born May 5, 1909, Mrs. Peloquin was a native of Oklahoma and lived in Hughson for many years. She taught third grade at Empire Elementary School and was honored as Stanislaus County's "Teacher of the Year."
She leaves behind her caregiver and nephew, Miles Mackey of Fortuna. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Felix Peloquin; one brother; and two sisters.
