A vigil was held Aug. 18 at Lakewood Funeral Home for MaryAnn Duletski Luijkx, 83, of Ceres. She died Sunday, Aug. 15, 2004 at her home.
A Mass was held Thursday at St. Jude's Catholic Church.
Inurnment was private.
Born Sept. 6, 1920, Mrs. Luijkx was a native of Glen Ullin, N.D., and lived in Ceres for 24 years. She was a retail drugstore clerk for 30 years. Mrs. Luijkx enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She leaves behind her caregiver and nephew, Kenneth J. Haff of Mandan, N.D.; her brother, Casmer Duletski of North Dakota; and three sisters, Josephine Kordonowy, Helen Odermann and Emelia Kreitinger, all of North Dakota. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Luijkx; and four sisters.
