A memorial gathering was held Saturday in Ceres for Michael Arthur Bughi, 45, of Modesto. He died Dec. 19, 2007 at Doctors Medical Center from head injuries suffered on Dec. 19, 2007.
Born May 18, 1962, Mr. Bughi was raised in Ceres, and graduated from Ceres High School. He lived in Modesto, where he worked as a welder/fabricator. Mike enjoyed playing pool, snowmobiling, dancing, music, movies, and collecting antiques and coins.
He leaves behind his daughter, Monica Bughi of Modesto; his father, Richard Bughi, of Ceres; his step-son, Robert Reyes of San Diego; two brothers, Robert Goff and Ben Goff, both of Modesto; three sisters, Vanessa Cartwright of Modesto, Victoria Bryant of Beattyville, Ky., Mari Jenson of Modesto; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma Bughi, and brother James Goff.
