Services were held for Michael Carl Angle, 43, of Spanaway, Wash. He died Feb. 3, 2008.

Born Oct. 19, 1964 to Randawl and Louise Harper Angle, Mr. Angle was a native of Modesto. He was the third of four sons. In scouting during the 1970s he earned his Order of the Arrow award. Michael was a 1982 graduate of Argus High School in Ceres, graduating at the top of his class. He worked as a carpenter for most of his life, starting at a young age when his father taught him the trade. Mr. Angle worked in Alaska processing fish and helped navigate F.V. Island Trader on the Bering Sea. He lived on the F.V. Blue Wave and worked as a deckhand.

He was an artist and poet hoping to publish his work. Michael enjoyed his family, friends, singing, children and animals.

He leaves behind his wife, Timberly Wood Angle of Spanaway, Wash.; his mother, Louise "Angel" Angle of Tacoma, Wash.; four children, Jeffrey MacDonalld, Lacy Ghannam, Michelle Dowell and Crystal Southerland; three brothers, Jerry Woodruff, Robert Woodruff and Mark Angle; his grandmother, Gussie Harper Currey; and 10 grandchildren.
