A service was held Thursday at Modesto Four Square Gospel Church in Modesto for Michael Dean Stokes, 33 of Ceres. He died Sunday, Feb. 3 in an dirt bike accident southwest of Ceres. The same accident took the life of his girlfriend, and her brother and sister in law.
Evins Funeral Home & Crematorium was in charge of arrangements.
Born June 15, 1974, Mr. Stokes had been employed as a mechanic. He enjoyed working on muscle cars.
He leaves behind his mother, Patricia Stokes of Turlock; his sister, Lisa Lofton of Ceres; and his grandmother, Mary Machado of Turlock.
