A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Mildred Louise Caudle, 82, of Empire. She died of natural causes on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Eaton Family Funeral Home in Modesto.

Born March 26, 1921, Mrs. Caudle was a native of Pittsburgh, Okla., and lived in Stanislaus County for 59 years. She worked at Empire School cafeteria for 27 years. Mrs. Caudle was a member of First Baptist Church of Ceres. She enjoyed fishing, camping, playing Racko, watching videos, and spending Sundays having dinner with family and visiting with friends.

She leaves behind her daughter, Thelma Louise Parker of Ceres; her brother, David Hall of Oklahoma; and five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
