A Mass was held Monday morning at St. Jude's Catholic Church for Monica Rene Ybarra Cabrera, 16, of Modesto. She died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Doctors Medical Center.
Burial was at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Salas Brothers funeral Chapel.
Born Nov. 23, 1988, Miss Ybarra Cabrera was a native and lifelong resident of Modesto. She was a student and a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres. She enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.
She is survived by her father, Miguel A. Cabrera of Tijuana, Mexico; mother, Rita Ybarra of Modesto; brothers, Gabriel Zapien of Modesto, Miguel A. Cabrera of Fresno and Josue Cabrera of Tijuana; sisters, Angelica Cabrera of Fresno and Sayra Cabrera of Tijuana; grandparents, Juan and Yolanda Ybarra of Modesto, Arminda Garcia of Fresno and Manuel Cabrera of Michoacn, Mexico.
