A graveside service was held Tuesday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery for Neadem Joseph "Joe" Benefield Jr., He died March 9, 2008.

The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Benefield was born Aug. 14, 1928.
