Private burial was at Turlock Memorial Park for Patricia Christine Smith Larson, 76, of Ceres. She died July 31, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Born March 10, 1932, Mrs. Larson was a native of Wabash, Ind. Her family moved her to the Monterey Bay area when she was three years old. She later moved to Turlock where she attended Lowell Grammar School, and Turlock High School. Patricia graduated from Modesto High School in 1950, and a year later married Galen Larson. In 1961 Mrs. Larson moved to Ceres, where they raised their children. She was a homemaker who had an infectious smile.
She leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Galen Larson of Ceres; her two children, Michael Larson of Santa Cruz County, and Lori Larson of Portland Ore.; and her granddaughter, Molly Larson, of Portland.
