A memorial service was held Tuesday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Paula Lee Wright, 72, of Ceres. She died peacefully on July 27, 2010 at the Alexander Cohen Community Hospice House in Hughson.
Born Nov. 29, 1937 in Huntington Park, to Larry "Russ" and Etta Mae "Peggy" Wright, Paula graduated from Downey High School in 1955. She treasured the many friendships she made while teaching shirt painting classes at Beverly Fabrics in Modesto. She loved and cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She leaves behind her children, Loren Scott Swearingen and Kevin Swearingen of Hughson; grandchildren, Evan Swearingen and Justin Swearingen of Hughson, Joseph Wright of Sonora, and Josh Wright and Jason Wright, both of Modesto.
