A graveside service was held Thursday at Ceres Memorial Park for Rafael Palafox Esparza, 45, of Ceres. He died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005.
Cunningham's Affordable Burial & Cremation Centers in Modesto is in charge of arrangements.
Born April 25, 1960, Mr. Esparza was a native of Mexico and lived in Ceres for 16 years. He was an auto mechanic for 25 years. Mr. Esparza enjoyed landscaping, volleyball and playing the guitar.
He leaves behind his mother, Marina Palafox of Ceres; two brothers, Adan Palafox and Francisco Palafox, both of St. Helena; and five sisters, Irma Gutierrez, Trina Prado, Amparo Sandoval and Estela Palafox, all of Ceres, and Evelia Moreno of St. Helena.
