A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ceres Memorial Park for Randy D. Huggins Sr., 55, of Riverbank. He died Feb. 10, 2011 at his home surrounded by family members.

The McHenry Chapel of Franklin & Downs is in charge of arrangements

A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the graveside services at 3942 Patterson Road, Riverbank.

Mr. Huggins was born May 8, 1955 in Modesto to Jimmie and Freda Huggins, and grew up in Ceres, attending Ceres schools. Randy got involved in real estate and by age 25 became a broker. He sold real estate through Big R real estate while opening Big R Ranch Supply, on Crows Landing Road. After closing the store Mr. Huggins became a motivational speaker, which allowed him to travel extensively before settling down and raising a family in Phoenix, Ariz. Randy pursued his lifelong dream of a dude ranch, Canyon Creek, which is located in Phoenix. He sold the ranch to move back to California, to be closer to his family and friends. He lived in Riverbank for approximately the last 10 years. Mr. Huggins enjoyed entertaining others - including playing the spoons - hunting, camping, fishing and boating.boating, dancing. Randy was a member of E Clampus Vitas #58.

He leaves behind his soulmate, Cathy Turman of Riverbank; three children, Randy D. Huggins Jr. of Peoria, Ariz., Tina M. Waggoner of Glendale, Ariz., and Angela D. Hukill of Peoria, Ariz.; his mother, Alfreda M. Huggins of Ceres; his brothers, Jimmie D. Huggins Jr. of Ceres and Doug Huggins; and four grandchildren, Cody Hukill, Courtney Hukill, Cole Waggoner and Hunter Waggoner. He was preceded in death by father Jimmie D. Huggins Sr., sisters Diana K. Chaulet and Freda Paulet Huggins and daughter Jennifer D. Huggins.
