Randy Gene Loftis

Nov. 1, 1951 - August 23, 2017

Known to many as Gene Loftis, Gene passed away on August 23, 2017 with his family by his side. Gene was a very hard working man who loved his family and would do anything for them. Gene grew up in the Ceres area and lived in Ceres with his wife and two daughters. He was a Ceres High alumnus and began a small business delivering furniture for various businesses across Northern California and Nevada.

Gene's favorite hobbies included hunting, camping, fishing, golfing, playing tennis, being a handyman and mechanic and watching his daughters play volleyball. After retiring three years ago, Gene loved being a full-time grandparent and his grandchildren lovingly called him "Rar Ra."

Gene is survived by his wife, Kelley Loftis; his daughters, Morgan and Gretchen; and four grandchildren, Cashton, Emma, Cutler and Aden.

The family has started a GoFundMe account if anyone would like to donate to fulfilling Gene's final wishes to be cremated and have his ashes spread at his favorite locations where he would spend time with his family. It may be found on the GoFundMe website under "Gene Loftis Memorial Fund."

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 16, 2017 at 10440 Almanor Circle, Stockton, CA 95219 at 12 noon.
