A funeral service was held Saturday at Ceres Christian Church for Richard Earl Covert, 54, of Hughson. He died April 28, 2008.
Born April 4, 1954, Mr. Covert was born in Germany, and moved to the United States with his family at the age of 2. He worked as a professional plumber for over 10 years. His hobbies included panning for gold in Bagby, fishing and caring for animals.
He leaves behind his wife Jeannie Covert of Hughson; his children, Kathy Covert of Utah, Alice DeBerry of Modesto and Richard Covert of Ceres; his sister, Kathy Davis of Hughson; and five grandchildren.
