A chapel service was held Monday morning at Lakewood Funeral Home for Robert Allen Martin, 73, of Coulterville. The former Ceres resident died Sunday, July 3, 2005 at Placerville Pines Convalescent Hospital.
Born March 25, 1932, Mr. Martin was a native of Modesto and lived in Coulterville for three years. He previously lived in Ceres for 70 years. Mr. Martin was a truck driver and owned a commercial transportation business for 48 years.
He leaves behind his wife, Thelma Martin of Coulterville; six brothers, Frank Martin, Ronald Martin and Gene Martin, all of Modesto, Norman Martin and Bill Martin, both of Ceres, and George Martin of Pismo Beach; two sisters, Evelyn Anderson of Turlock and Margaret Montoya of Riverbank. He was preceded in death by two brothers; and one sister.
