Services were held Tuesday at the Joplin Family Worship Center in Joplin, Mo., for Robert E. Mattox II, 34, of Neosho, Mo. The former Keyes resident died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005 in an automobile crash.

Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin was in charge of arrangements.

Born March 11, 1970 in Modesto, Mr. Mattox lived in the Neosho area for the last 10 years. He owned Pleasure Pools of Joplin. Mr. Mattox was a member of Crown Life Chapel. He served two years in the Navy.

He leaves behind his wife, Renee Burns Mattox of Neosho; two daughters, Mary Mattox and Megan Mattox, both of Neosho; one brother, Michael Mattox of Denair; two sisters, Sheila Parra of Keyes and Heather Finney of Joplin; his grandfather, Mose Mattox of Keyes; and his grandmother, Faye Russell of Joplin.
