A graveside service was held Saturday at Lakewood Memorial Park for Rolland Dupere, 88, of Hughson. He died May 4, 2012.
Eaton's Family Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Born Sept. 19, 1923 in Hughson to Beulah and Frederick Dupere, Rolland served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945 during World War II. A proud father and devoted grandfather, Mr. Dupere was known for his positive spirit which touched many.
He leaves behind three daughters, Linda Vandiver of Arkansas, Suzy Janosz of California, and Sandy Stanhope of Hughson; his brother, Fred Dupere; his sister, Irene Frick; and 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Mary and two sisters.
