Ronald Eugene Blevins

Ronald Blevins, a resident of Escalon, entered into rest July 18, 2013.

He was born to Ina and Joe Kleinschmit. Ron graduated from Davis High School. Ronald had been a baker and worked for the deli at Marie Calendar's. He was a maintenance worker for Richland Markets for 24 years. Ron also had a painting business, Blevins's Painting.
He was a very compassionate person, volunteering his time to the Greek Orthodox Church in Modesto, the Salvation Army and serving food to needy. Ron loved to go to the Delta, he had just bought a boat with his brother Don. He also loved to play poker with his friends. Ron never had a bad thing to say about anybody. His friends and family were very important to him.

Ron leaves behind his mother, Ina Kleinschmit of Escalon; his siblings Don Blevins and sister in-law Tammy Blevins of Escalon, and Steven Blevins of Klamath Falls, Ore., Joyce Reed of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Sherree Brace of Turlock; his aunt, Haizelle Petrucelli of Campo; and his uncle, Lyle Adams of Sonora. Ron also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Cody Blevins, Kelsey Blevins and Haidey Blevins, all of Escalon, Casey Blevins and Brandon Blevins, both of Oregon, Angie Hall of Santa Margarita, and Teresa Brace and Timothy Brace, both of Turlock; his great nieces and nephews, Cheyenne Blevins, Cody Jr. Blevins, Weston Blevins and Hanna Blevins, all of Escalon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe D. Kleinschmit, grandfather, Don H. Adams, grandmother Irene M. Adams, sister Wanda Weifenbach, aunt Denise Adams, uncle Don Adams, niece Judy Ann Marie Blevins, and nephew Dalton Dennis Blevins.

He will be greatly missed.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin Street, Escalon. A church service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 12 noon at Trinity Church Assembly of God, 1900 California St., Escalon.

Rembrances may be made to the Salvation Army, Modesto.
