Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at Allen Mortuary in Turlock for Rosemary Houck, 88, of Turlock. She died Sunday, Dec. 9 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday at Allen Mortuary. Burial will follow at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
Born January 1919, Mrs. Houck was a native of Norman, Okla., and moved to California in 1937. She had resided in Turlock for 45 years. Mrs. Houck was a member of the Keyes Assembly of God Church, where she leaves behind many friends. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and always enjoyed her flowers.
She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, Ray Houck of Turlock; and five children, Larry Houck of Elk Grove, Phil Houck of Sparks, Nev., Carl Houck of Santa Rosa, Ron Houck of Willows, Bob Houck of Turlock; and 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son, two brothers and three sisters.
