A chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lakewood Funeral Home for Ruby Olive Cole, 78, of Bethel Island. She died Friday, July 22, 2005 at her home.
Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Born March 14, 1927, Mrs. Cole was a native of England, Ark., and lived in Bethel Island for 10 years and previously lived in Manteca, Modesto and Ceres from 1947-95. Mrs. Cole was a homemaker.
She leaves behind two sons, Gary Cole of Arizona and Harold Cole of Oakley; her brother, William Olive of Arkansas; her sister, Eula Fruchey of Arkansas; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Cole; and son, Allen Cole.
