A memorial service was held at Assembly of God Church in Keyes on Monday for Shawn Leroy Paul, 49, of Hughson. He died in June.
Born in May 1959, Mr. Paul was a native of Oxnard, born to Raymond and Patricia Paul. Shawn was raised in Keyes. As an adult he lived in La Grange for 15 years before moving to Hughson where he had lived for over a year. Mr. Paul enjoyed hunting and fishing. As a game fowl breeder he belonged to the United Gamefowl Breeders Association.
He leaves behind his soulmate, Sugar Cupit of Hughson; two children, Shawn Leon Paul and Caitlyn Dorridy, both of La Grange; his parents, Raymond and Patricia Paul of La Grange; his sister Anita Burns of Ceres, and nephew Alex Burns of Ceres.
