Steven Robert Motel

July 19, 1956 - Oct. 30, 2015

Steve was born in Modesto on July 19, 1956. Steve passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2015 at his home in Ceres at the age of 59. He is at peace and home with his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.

Steve graduated from Ceres High School and lived in Ceres his entire life. He worked for Gary's Automotive in Ceres, and Storer Transportation. He was an active member of Ceres Christian Church and Celebrate Recovery.

Steve loved taking trips to Arkansas to visit relatives.

Steve is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Wilda and Norman Hyer of Ceres; his nieces and nephews; and his aunt, Derlene Terry of Tulloch Lake. He was preceded in death by mother Margie Motel of Ceres, sisters Carol Raymond of Waterford, Cathy Beam of Modesto, and brother Terry Motel of Salida.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. at Ceres Christian Church, 3502 Roeding Road, Ceres. Those wishing to send memorials may send them to Ceres Christian Church or a charity of choice.
