A graveside service will be held 1 p.m Thursday at Ceres Memorial Park for Tammer Juettie McCleskey Hackett, 93, of Hughson. She died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004 at Hy-Lond Convalescent Hospital in Modesto.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto.

Born April 6, 1910, Mrs. Hackett was a native of Dawson County, Ga., and had lived in the Ceres, Modesto and Hughson area since 1927. She was a cannery worker and worked for California Vegetable Concentrates for 10 years. Mrs. Hackett enjoyed crocheting.

She leaves behind four children, Ellen Bomar and Elmer Hackett, both of Modesto, Esther Cranford of Ceres and Darlene Rhetts of Manteca; two brothers, James McCleskey of Modesto and David McClesky of Ceres; her sister, Merle Spiller of Angels Camp; and 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hackett; two children; and two grandchildren.
