A memorial service was held Saturday at Prescott Evangelical Free Church in Modesto for Vincent B. Kinser, 83, of Ceres. He died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 at Veterans Affairs Hospital in Livermore.
Born Jan. 22, 1922, Mr. Kinser was a native of Turlock and a lifelong resident of Stanislaus County. He was a retired purchasing agent and had worked for American Distributing from 1947-71 and Valley Distributing from 1971-88. Mr. Kinser served in the Army Air Forces from 1942-46.
He leaves behind his wife, Elsie Kinser of Ceres; children, Ken Kinser and Greta Simms, both of Modesto; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
