A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Baptist Temple Church, 705 Paradise Rd., Modesto, for Wayne McDonald, 61, of Modesto. He died of cancer at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
A lifelong resident of the Modesto area, Wayne earned his Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America. He graduated from Modesto High School in 1967. Wayne was a pressman for Valley Printing Service in Ceres for over 30 years. He also worked part-time at Mountain Mike's Pizza.
He leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Elizabeth McDonald; his children, Eric McDonald, Matt McDonald, Mike McDonald and Michelle Hutchins; his sister, Sharon Sim; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents Chester and Dorothy McDonald and sister Bonnie Cornelius.
