William Creasey Jr.

Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for William Creasey Jr., 81, of Ceres. He died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson.

Born May 5, 1924, Mr. Creasey was a native of Indiana and lived in Ceres one year, and previously lived in Hughson for 26 years. He was a capper at the Nestle plant in Ripon for 17 years. Mr. Creasey was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hornitos and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tin Can Sailors and the Teamsters. He enjoyed reading and fishing.

He leaves behind his wife, Bettie Creasey of Ceres; her daughter, Alice Jones of Ceres; two brothers, James Creasey of Illinois and Theodore Creasey of Los Angeles; two sisters, Margaret Dawson of Sacramento and Imajean Newfield of Phoenix; and one grandchild and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Donald Jensen.
