Lakewood Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for William Everett Funkhouser, 94, of Hughson. He died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005 at Hy-Lond Convalescent Hospital in Modesto.
Born June 25, 1911, Mr. Funkhouser was a native of Idaho and lived in Hughson for 20 years and in Willows for one year. He was a pastor and enjoyed music and painting.
He leaves behind three children, Lyn Funkhouser of Waterford, Thomas Funkhouser of Portland, Ore., and Ethel Herr of Sunnyvale; his brother, Ernie Funkhouser of Santa Barbara; two sisters, June Greene and Vera Wade, both of Tacoma, Wash.; and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
