A funeral service was held Tuesday at Eaton Family Funeral Home for William Elvin Thomas, 50, of Ceres. He died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005 at his home.
Born July 5, 1954, Mr. Thomas was a native of Kansas City and lived in Ceres for 35 years. He was a maintenance worker for Modesto City Schools for five years. Mr. Thomas enjoyed working on cars.
He leaves behind his companion, Jacqueline Romano; his daughter, Christina Hoffman of Kentucky; his brother, Randal Thomas of Oakdale; three sisters, Lola Stewart of Hickman, Carol Rogozienski of Avondale, Mo., and Geraldine Hall of Ceres; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by one sister.
