A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30 at the Parkwood Seventh-day Adventist Church for Zella Mae Winter Weigelt, 90, of Modesto. She died Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Hale Aloha Convalescent Hospital in Ceres.

Born Oct. 13, 1914, Mrs. Weigelt was a native of Jones County, Texas. She lived in Modesto 20 years and previously lived in Salinas 20 years. She was a civil service secretary with the Navy at Port Hueneme Naval Station for 12 years. She was also a waitress for 20 years. She was a member of Modesto Parkwood Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed music, cats and other animals.
She is survived by her caregiver, Kay Podvin of Modesto.
