The rosary and Mass was held Tuesday at St Anthony's Catholic Church in Hughson, for Zenaida Martinez Pena, 77, of Hughson. She died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at her home.
Burial was at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Modesto under the direction of Eaton Family Funeral Home.
Born June 6, 1926, Mrs. Pena was a native of Mexico and lived in Hughson for 32 years. She made saddles for 18 years. Mrs. Pena was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
She leaves behind eight children, Sergio Pena, Mario Pena, Javier Pena, Alberto Pena, Hector Pena and Jesus Pena, all of Woodlake, Maria Mendez of Hughson, and Rosa Pena of Mexico; two brothers, Rafael Martinez of Mexico and Jesus Martinez of Modesto; her sister, Maria Hernandez of Woodlake; and 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Pena; and one brother.
