Donald Trump mild compared to Cesar Chavez

Cesar Chavez Day is a state holiday in California, Colorado, and Texas. Cesar Chavez became a popular figure in the Hispanic community after he led a national movement to protect the Hispanic farm workers, organizing and founding the National Farm Workers Association. This movement included action to prevent illegal aliens from Mexico from coming to America and taking jobs away and lowering wages for Hispanic farm workers who were working the agricultural land legally. As a result, Chavez coordinated patrols of legal Hispanics to monitor the border, known as "wet lines" to assist Border Patrol. Those who crossed the border ("wet line") were often "roughed up" and forced to return to Mexico. Chavez was praised for protecting the farm workers' rights and other Hispanics, who were in America legally in the 1970's.

Today, most illegal aliens are not coming to America to seek work in the agriculture community. The Obama administration has forced the Border Patrol to essentially turn a blind eye to those coming into America. In California, illegal aliens are welcomed as the government has offered free services, we as American citizens get, including housing, health care, unemployment, food stamps, education, scholarships, and a drivers' license. The Mexican government is happy to send those who are not contributing to their government north to America. Many are coming for a better life, knowing the American government will take care of them at the expense of the taxpayer. The Democrat Party knows that supplying "free services" provided by the government essentially means more Democrat voters on the Democrat plantation. Their policies are not about compassion; but about votes for government control.

The policies put in place by Democrats have put American in danger. Drug cartels, traffickers, gangs, and suspected terrorist have overwhelmed Border Patrol with the cartels responsible for over 55,000 murders along the southern border. Twenty percent of those coming to America have a criminal background. As a result, 30 percent of those in our federal and state prisons are here illegally. According to the FBI, there are 1.4 million gang members coordinating multiple crimes from drugs to theft to murder, tying up police services, prisons, and our courts. According to a 2010 Justice Department report, gangs consisting of illegal immigrants are active in 1,286 U.S. cities.

Many have called presidential candidate Donald Trump a racist for pointing out the criminal background of many here illegally. He is called a racist for his pledge to enforce the law and build a wall along the southern border to assist Border Patrol. This is far less than what Cesar Chavez organized in the 1970s. Trump has not called for any Hispanics to be "roughed up."

Mexico, itself, has strict immigration laws. One way to get Mexico to build a wall would be for America to send our criminals to Mexico. Further, if Mexico would provide free government assistance, there are many Americans who would flock for the "freebies." As a result, the Democrats would finally find the will to work and volunteer themselves to build the wall to keep those on their plantation, here in America. After all, we would be doing the same that Mexico has done to us without anyone being "roughed up."
