LeAnn Rimes contracted for July 21 Fair show

Country recording superstar, LeAnn Rimes, will be coming to the 2012 Stanislaus County Fair.

Rimes will be performing Saturday, July 21 on the Budweiser Variety Free Stage. The concert will be hosted by KAT Country 103 and will begin at 8:30 p.m. The concert is free with the price of fair admission.

"We are thrilled to have LeAnn Rimes back at The Stanislaus County Fair," said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. "Her music and sensational voice is loved by fans of all ages."

Rimes performed at the 2007 Fair and is returning for a sequel performance. She has sold more than 40 million albums and is a two time Grammy Award winner, being the youngest recipient of the award. LeAnn Rimes has also been awarded three Academy of Country Music Awards and 12 Billboard Music Awards.

LeAnn Rimes has 42 singles that went to the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 13 being top-10 hits. She also has had tremendous success with her #1 hit "Can't Fight the Moonlight," which appeared in the box office hit "Coyote Ugly." "How Do I Live," another popular hit, was one of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart's longest appearing singles.
