The Hawks still managed to finish fifth overall.
"I really didn't have any expectations going into it because the whole team's been battling the flu," Central Valley head coach Rob Beckhart said. "We still did well. I'm happy."
The Hawks posted a 3-2 record at the 10-team, dual-meet event.
Michael Manzur (115s), Jorge Canales (172/184), Cristian Garcia (140), Anthony Centeno (162/172), Adrian Vizcaino (184/197), Rick Brown (172/184), Carlos Osorio (128), Jordan Sales (220/HWT), Rose Moore (122), Isaiah Gonzales (108), Eddy Nunez (154) and Luis Torres (147) all contributed.
Manzur, Vizcaino and Brown excelled despite being slowed by flu-like symptoms.
Hawk teammates Raul Godinez, Josue Hernandez and Cesar Yepiz were sidelined due to illness.
Manzur won twice by pin on his way to compiling a perfect 4-0 record. He accounted for 30 of Central Valley's team points.
"He was coughing," Beckhart said. "He was having trouble breathing. He was definitely tired most of the day but was able to come out on top. He went out there and worked hard."
Canales compiled a 3-0 record. He had two pins.
Garcia, Centeno and Vizcaino had identical 4-1 records.
