Dolphins secure split at home

The Ceres Dolphins opened the Mid-Valley Swim League tri meet portion of their schedule on Saturday, May 30.

The recreational youth club topped the Turlock Marlins (200) but lost to the Manteca Dolphins (987). Ceres totaled 627 points.

"We performed very well," head coach Tracy Bull said. "It was a fun day."

17-18 boys

Ryan Calou placed first in the 100 IM, 100 fly and 50 free.

17-18 girls

Anna Polovin placed first in the 50 fly, 50 free and 100 IM.

15-16 boys

Stephen Jones placed first in the 100 IM, 100 breast and 50 free.

Kyle Martinez placed second in the 100 breast and 100 free, and third in the 50 free.

15-16 girls

Cassandra Guevara placed first in the 100 free, 50 free and 50 fly.

Cierra Alvear placed first in the 100 IM and 50 breast, and second in the 50 fly.

Tori Gunzenhauser placed second in the 100 free and 50 free, and third in the 50 breast.

Megan Valenzuela placed third in the 100 free, 50 free and 50 fly.

Montana Bull placed first in the 50 back, and second in the 50 breast and 100 IM.
