The Ceres Dolphins placed fifth in a field of eight at the Sea Dogs Invitational on Saturday in Turlock.
The recreational youth swim club accumulated 407 points on its way to finishing ahead of Manteca (276.5), Modesto-Stanislaus (264) and Central Valley Acquatics (42).
Ripon (1,201.5), Hughson (888), Tracy (761) and Oakdale (434) took first, second, third and fourth, respectively.
Ceres had two high-point winners: 18-year-old Ryan Calou and Tyler Padilla, 16.
Jadyn Shinn, 7, just missed out on the top honor.
A host of other Dolphins turned in dominant performances as well.
