The Ceres Dolphins traveled to Lathrop High School on Saturday to face the Manteca Dolphins.
Outnumbered 2-to-1, Ceres lost 2,208.5-1,448.5 to Manteca in an unheated pool.
Third-place Ceres dropped to 4-2 in the MVSL standings.
Manteca moved to 4-2.
"We actually swam very well," Ceres head coach Tracy Bull said. "They had 200-plus kids. We put 100 in the water. We had a very good performance up there."
