Bulldogs win again in golf

Ceres High's varsity boys golf program posted a team score of 305 while finishing in first place during the Western Athletic Conference's fourth cluster tournament on Thursday at St. Stanisalus.

The host Bulldogs bested Patterson (348), Livingston (372), Central Valley (389), Los Banos (390) and Pacheco (410). Ceres High (20 points) currently sits in first place in the WAC standings, followed by Patterson (16), Livingston (11), Los Banos (8), Central Valley (3) and Pacheco (2).

Bulldog sophomore Gary Condit led all golfers with a 1-over-par 55 at St. Stanislaus.

Sophomore Jayden Panyanouvong (57), Zac Chapman (65), Jake Nevarez (65) and sophomore Braden Hurst (66) also contributed to Ceres High's team score.

Central Valley turned in its best performance of the WAC season.

Freshman Kadin Richardson paced the Hawks with an 18-over-par 72.

Freshman Thomas Carrillo shot a 75.

Jonathan Barragan fired an 80.

Freshman Jacob Hendrix and Johnny Velasquez carded identical scores of 81.
