Ceres High School's varsity boys swim team turned in a repeat performance at the Western Athletic Conference Championships.

The Bulldogs racked up 102 points on their way to a runner-up finish for the second year in a row.

Los Banos (205) won the team title at Pacheco High School on April 27.

Pacheco (64) and Central Catholic (55) finished third and fourth, respectively.

Patterson (54) and Livingston (54) tied for fifth.
Crosstown-rival Central Valley competed but didn't earn any points.

Zach Jones, Manuel Hernandez, Erik Weststeyn, Stefan Perry, Jacob Stone, Mario Gonzalez and Joseph Ochoa paced the Bulldogs.

Jones placed first in the 100 free (50.97) and fourth in the 100 breast (1:11.78).

Hernandez placed third in the 50 free (24.20) and fourth in the 100 free (53.43).

Weststeyn placed fourth in the 500 free (6:14.09) and eighth in the 100 fly (1:06.55).

Perry placed fifth in the 500 free (6:20.36) and seventh in the 100 breast (1:18.29).

Stone placed sixth in the 100 fly (1:04.14).

Gonzalez placed sixth in the 100 back (1:13.38) and seventh in the 200 IM (2:36.14).

Ochoa placed seventh in the 50 free (25.99) and eighth in the 100 free (59.26).

Branden Burton, Cameron Tucker, Andrew Serratos, Jose Robles, Kevin Martinez, David Jimenez, Austin Bell, Reshem Dosanjh, Dominick Aguilar and Ruben Bocanegra represented the Hawks.

Burton placed 11th in the 100 fly (1:27.39).

Tucker placed 12th in the 200 IM (3:15.63) and 13th in the 100 back (1:30.96).

Serratos placed 14th in the 500 free (8:04.84).

Robles placed 17th in the 100 breast (1:41.01) and 21st in the 50 free (29.75).

Martinez placed 19th in the 50 free (29.10).

Jimenez placed 20th in the 100 breast (1:48.65) and 39th in the 50 free (40.06).

Bell placed 27th in the 50 free (32.66).

Dosanjh placed 30th in the 50 free (35.17).

Aguilar placed 31st in the 100 free (1:29.47) and 40th in the 50 free (40.48).

Bocanegra placed 34th in the 50 free (36.57).
Ceres High's girls totaled 65 points en route to a third-place finish. The Bulldogs took second in 2012.
Crosstown-rival Central Valley (26) placed sixth.

Los Banos (230), Pacheco (86), Patterson (52), Livingston (47) and Central Catholic (12) finished first, second, fourth, fifth and seventh, respectively.

Haley Fisicaro, Briona Schneider, Baylee Carlin, Ryleigh Honberger, Annie Connors, Emily Chapman and Haley Hoback led the Bulldogs.

Fisicaro placed first in the 50 free (26.23) and 100 back (1:06.37).

Schneider placed second in the 200 free (2:49.20) and sixth in the 100 breast (1:35.09).

Carlin placed fourth in the 50 free (29.83).

Honberger placed fourth in the 100 breast (1:34.65).

Connors placed sixth in the 50 free (31.81).

Chapman placed sixth in the 100 fly (1:31.45) and eighth in the 100 back (1:35.58).

Hoback placed eighth in the 500 free (7:37.05).

Central Valley's Savannah Alvear placed fourth in the 200 IM (2:51.40) and 100 back (1:18.03).

Hawk teammates Bianca Zuniga, Simiran Dosanjh, Marissa Ortega and Stephanie Navarro contributed as well.

Zuniga placed 11th in the 500 free (8:10.49) and 14th in the 200 free (3:09.56).

Dosanjh placed 15th in the 50 free (35.93).

Ortega placed 12th in the 100 back (1:47.24) and 16th in the 100 free (1:21.75).

Navarro placed 16th in the 100 breast (1:56.11).
