Ceres High School's track and field program closed out the Western Athletic Conference dual-meet season in victorious fashion last week.

Ceres High's varsity boys team locked up a second-place finish in the WAC standings after topping Pacheco 91-45 on Wednesday at Bulldog Stadium.

The Bulldogs compiled a near-perfect 5-1 record.

Ceres High had a host of contributors during its victory over the Panthers.

Christian Linarez swept the 800 and 1,600.

Seth Gibson placed first in the 300 hurdles.

Austin Stiles placed first in the high jump.

Isaac Leon placed first in the 3,200 and second in the 1,600.

Marcellus Boykins placed first in the triple jump and second in the long jump.

Trevor Nash placed first in the long jump and second in the triple jump.

Cordell Dennis placed first in the 100, second in the high jump and third in the 200.

Conner Johnson placed first in the shot put and third in the discus.

Johnni Smith-Willis placed second in the 200 and 100.

Ulises Diaz placed second in the 800.

Blake Borba placed second in the 400.

Isaac Soto placed second in the pole vault.

Angel Macias placed third in the 3,200.

Gabriel Heredia placed third in the 300 hurdles.

Louis Thomas placed third in the high jump and triple jump.

Ryan Wolf placed third in the shot put.

Aaron Black placed third in the pole vault.

Ceres High's 4x400 relay team of Gibson, Diaz, Johnson and Clayton Elness placed first.

Ceres High's varsity girls team posted an 84-52 win over Pacheco.

The Bulldogs (4-2) finished third in the WAC.

Azia Brewster swept the high jump and 100 hurdles.

Sydney Elness placed first in the triple jump, and second in the long jump and high jump.

Ashley Schmidt placed first in the long jump and second in the triple jump.

Claudia Jimenez placed first in the 400 and second in the 200.

Haleigh Leazer placed first in the 1,600 and second in the 800.

Carli Gomes placed second in the 300 hurdles and 100.

Yasmine Cordova placed second in the 400.

Yarisleidi Rodriguez placed second in the shot put.

Destiny Suarez placed second in the 1,600 and third in the 800.

Maria Diaz placed second in the 3,200 and third in the 1,600.

Kendall Meyer placed third in the high jump, long jump and triple jump.

Courtney Adams placed third in the 400.

Destiny Adams placed third in the 200.

Kerina Martinez placed third in the 100.

Saray Gonzalez placed third in the discus.

Ceres High will compete at the WAC Championships tomorrow at Golden Valley High School's Veteran's Stadium in Merced. The meet will get underway at 1 p.m.
