CV boys, girls drop WAC duals to Patterson
Tigers sweep winless Hawks

Central Valley's varsity girls swim team battled visiting Patterson last week.

The Hawks lost 83-52 to the Tigers on Thursday at Ceres High.

Central Valley didn't have any individuals compete in the 200 free, 200 IM, 100 fly and 100 back due to its lack of numbers. The Hawks were outscored, 38-0, in those four events.

Central Valley dropped to 0-4 in the Western Athletic Conference dual-meet standings.

Patterson improved to 1-2.

Hawk Leilani Ortiz placed first in the 50 free and 100 breast.

Leticia Sandoval placed first in the 500 free.

Aryanna Jimenez placed first in the 100 free and second in the 50 free.

Daniela Sandoval placed fourth in the 100 free.

Central Valley's 200 medley relay team of Leticia Sandoval, Ortiz, Jimenez and Daniela Sandoval placed first.

Central Valley's 200 medley relay team of Hannah Duncan, Jocelyn Garcia, Belle Martinez and Emily Garcia placed third.

Central Valley's 200 free relay team of Jimenez, Daniela Sandoval, Leticia Sandoval and Ortiz placed first.

Central Valley's 200 free relay team of Jocelyn Garcia, Kylie Smith, Emily Garcia and Martinez placed third.

Central Valley's 400 free relay team of Jocelyn Garcia, Amy Batth, Emily Garcia and Martinez placed third.

The Hawks led just once during the meet. Central Valley outscored Patterson 10-4 in the 200 medley relay.

Central Valley got within seven points, 51-44, after placing first and third in the 200 free relay.

The Tigers outscored the Hawks 32-8 the rest of the way.

Central Valley's varsity boys swim team dropped to 0-4 in the WAC dual-meet standings following Thursday's 79-34 loss to Patterson.

Christian Oliver placed first in the 50 free and 100 free.

Marcus Murillo placed second in the 50 free and 100 free.

Andy Jacinto placed fourth in the 50 free.

Central Valley's 200 free relay team of Murillo, Jacinto, Oliver and Aaron Magana placed first.

Central Valley's 400 free relay team of Murillo, Magana, Jacinto and Oliver placed second.

The shorthanded Hawks had no entries in the 200 free, 200 IM, 100 fly, 500 free, 100 back, 100 breast and 200 medley relay.
