Central Valley's varsity girls swim program nearly secured its first win of the 2018 Western Athletic Conference dual-meet season last week.

The Hawks fell to 0-4 in the WAC standings following Thursday's 85-75 road loss to the Patterson Tigers.

Ahead 67-64, Central Valley was outscored 21-8 during the duals final two events (100 breast and 400 free relay).

Leilani Ortiz finished first in the 200 IM and 100 free.

Kaydee Peterman finished first in the 50 free.

Aryanna Jimenez finished first in the 100 fly and second in the 200 free.

Sofia Amaral finished second in the 50 free and 100 breast.

Ashley Corro finished third in the 500 free.

Belle Martinez finished third in the 100 free.

Erin Batista finished fourth in the 100 back.

Gianna Giottonini finished fourth in the 500 free and fifth in the 200 free.

Central Valley's 200 ‘A' medley relay team of Corro, Amaral, Jimenez and Ortiz finished first.

Central Valley's 200 ‘B' medley relay team of Batista, Giottonini, Hannah Duncan and Martinez finished third.

Central Valley's 200 ‘A' free relay team of Corro, Amaral, Jimenez and Ortiz finished first.

Central Valley's 200 ‘B' free relay team of Giottonini, Duncan, Naudia Gonzales and Peterman finished second.

Central Valley's 400 ‘A' free relay team of Martinez, Victoria Serpas, Puneeta Salhan and Batista finished second.
