Ceres High varsity boys track and field standout Daniel Yepez placed first in the 300 hurdles, second in the 110 hurdles and third in the triple jump against Los Banos on April 10 in Ceres.

Ceres High’s varsity track and field program competed against visiting Los Banos this past week.

The Bulldogs swept the Tigers.

Ceres High’s second-place boys team improved to 4-1 in the Western Athletic Conference dual-meet standings with a 93-41 victory over the Tigers on April 10.

Bryan Erenas placed first in the 100 and 200.

Gonzalo Rivera placed first in the 800 and 1,600.

Josh Garcia placed first in the discus and shot put.

Luis Yepez placed first in the triple jump and second in the 200.

Elijah Vas Dinis placed first in the 3,200 and second in the 1,600.

Daniel Yepez placed first in the 300 hurdles, second in the 110 hurdles and third in the triple jump.

Aaron Alarcon placed second in the 800 and triple jump.

Isaias Jimenez placed second in the shot put.

Jesus Nungaray placed second in the pole vault.

Samar Singh placed second in the discus and high jump, and third in the 300 hurdles.
