The Bulldogs finished the WAC season undefeated.

“In my time here, this hasn’t happened,” Ceres High first-year leader/former Bulldogs’ assistant coach Paul Smith stated. “This is my six season in Ceres. Our depth, work ethic and commitment are what did it. The kids have delivered consistently all year.”

“We have a fantastic group,” Smith said. “They support and push each other. They’re just great kids.”

Ceres High (3-4) tied for fourth place in the WAC dual standings with Central Valley and Grace Davis.

“The kids stepped up,” Smith said while talking about his team’s latest performance.

Ceres High edged Livingston by just one point for third place at the conference finals.

The Bulldogs’ 4x400 relay team of Brooke Kiser, Clarissa Rivera, Alyssa Arbaugh and Jayden Garcia helped Ceres High secure a top-three finish in the standings by finishing fourth in their event.

“It was great to hold onto third,” Smith said. “We didn’t have a huge team this season. We brought quality and consistency.”
