Ceres High's varsity girls tennis team picked up a pair of wins in Western Athletic Conference play this past week.

The Bulldogs improved to 5-4 in the WAC standings following Thursday's 7-2 domination of host Pacheco.

Ceres High won five of six singles and two of three doubles matches.

Dominique Koeurn defeated Frances Jacobo 7-5, 6-4 in No. 2 singles play.

Azia Brewster defeated Esmeralda Ramirez 6-1, 6-0 in No. 3 singles play.

Vivian Moreno defeated Selena Salinas 6-4, 6-0 in No. 4 singles play.

Bella Rosas defeated Chelsea Cano 6-3, 6-1 in No. 5 singles play.

Shania Evans defeated Marilyn Sanchez 6-4, 6-1 in No. 6 singles play.

Sarah Cuevas and Morgan Bejaran defeated Janette Salinas and Carmen Hernandez 7-5, 7-5 in No. 1 doubles play.

Camille Vega and Harman Bahia defeated Daniela Mendoza and Allyson Magana 6-1, 7-5 in No. 2 doubles play.

Host Ceres High topped Livingston 7-2 on Sept. 27.

Andria Esho defeated Elena Marin 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1 singles play.

Koeurn defeated Marissa Aguilar 6-2, 6-2 in No. 2 singles play.

Brewster defeated Andreina Mendoza 6-0, 6-1 in No. 3 singles play.

Moreno defeated Gabby Ramirez 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 in No. 4 singles play.

Rosas defeated Esme Ramos 6-3, 6-2 in No. 5 singles play.

Evans defeated Lexi Medeiros 6-0, 6-1 in No. 6 singles play.

Vega and Bahia defeated Migdalya Pacheco and Erica Lomeli 6-1, 7-5 in No. 2 doubles play.
