Ceres High's varsity girls soccer team shut out Pacheco 4-0 in Western Athletic Conference play on Thursday in Los Banos.

The Bulldogs improved to 6-3-3 overall and 2-1-1 in the WAC standings.

Miranda Wilds collected two goals and one assist in leading Ceres High past Pacheco.

Mariah Trevino and Elena Arellano both contributed one goal.

The Bulldogs outscored the Panthers 3-0 in the opening half.

Ceres High battled to a 1-1 draw versus host Livingston on Jan. 16.

Jacqueline Ruiz scored a goal in the 18th minute for the Bulldogs.

Wilds picked up the assist.

Livingston evened the score in the 22nd minute.

Ceres High will face crosstown-rival Central Valley on the road this Saturday at 3:15 p.m.
