Central Valley's varsity softball team remained winless in Western Athletic Conference play after losing to Pacheco and Los Banos this past week.

The Hawks dropped to 0-4 in the WAC standings following Thursday's 9-0 loss to visiting Pacheco.

Central Valley mustered just four hits and struck out 13 times on offense.

The Panthers (3-1) totaled 12 hits.

Central Valley lost by the mercy rule, 21-0, to Los Banos on April 5.

The Tigers (3-1) had a season-high 25 hits.

Los Banos pitcher Kiara Azevedo limited the Hawks to three hits with six strikeouts over five innings.

Central Valley's Megan McElroy, Alyssa Maeyama, Nayeli Pelayo and Adria Robinson all singled.

Autianna Baxter walked once.

Hawk pitcher Brianna Quiroz allowed 21 runs (18 earned) and 24 hits with no strikeouts and no walks in five innings.

Central Valley will play host to Livingston today at 4 p.m.
