Central Valley's junior-varsity boys basketball team won its crosstown battle with Ceres High.

The Hawks defeated the host Bulldogs 50-43 in Western Athletic Conference play on Jan. 24 at Phil de la Porte Gymnasium.

Kadin Manor buried six treys en route to pouring in a game-high 27 points for second-place Central Valley (4-2).

Phoenix Jackson totaled 11 points.

Benjamin Gaut collected four points.

Jacob Ingraham and Andy Souksavath contributed three points apiece.

Juan Brambila added two points.

David Valencia paced the fourth-place Bulldogs (1-5) with 20 points.

Jacob Rodriguez totaled 13 points.

Malakhi Shimon and Ryan Ashby collected seven and three points, respectively.

Central Valley tallied 19 points in the first quarter on its way to building a 30-24 lead in the opening half.

The Bulldogs cut the deficit to two points, 34-32, in the third quarter.

Central Valley outscored Ceres High 16-11 in the fourth quarter.
