Ceres High School's varsity wrestling program had a solid showing at the Modesto Junior College Team Dual Tournament on Dec. 22.

The Bulldogs posted a 3-2 record on their way to a third-place finish.

Ceres High collected victories against Gregori, Argonaut and Beyer.

The Bulldogs lost to Turlock and Madera South.

Ceres High posted a 42-27 win over Gregori.

Luis Camarillo won by pin at 126 pounds.

Spencer Nelson won by pin at 170 pounds.

Conner Johnson won by pin at 220 pounds.

John Alba won by decision at 152 pounds.

Tyree Williams won by decision at 195 pounds.

Frankie Mendez won by forfeit at 106 pounds.

Tyler Fleming won by forfeit at 120 pounds.

Daniel McElwain won by forfeit at 285 pounds.

Alba and Diego Diaz (182s) both won by pin during Ceres High's 84-0 rout of Argonaut.

Mendez (106s), Michael Vargas (113s), Fleming (120s), Camarillo (126s), Brian Becerra (132s), Jaden Cooper (138s), Brandon Ramirez (145s), Aiden Moore (160s), Derian Cisneros (170s), Williams (195s), Johnson (220s) and McElwain (285s) all won by forfeit.

Ceres High pulled away for a 56-20 victory against Beyer.

Mendez (106s), Camarillo (126s), Cooper (138s), Nelson (170s), Diaz (182s) and McElwain (285s) all won by pin.

Williams (220s) won by decision.

Alba (152s) and Johnson (195s) both won by forfeit.
