Jose Gonzales, 20, of Ceres, was arrested and booked early Saturday morning on charges of DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration above .08 and driving on a suspended license early Saturday morning.

At 3:53 a.m., Officer Kiashira Ruiz made a traffic stop on Gonzales in the 1500 block of Whitmore Avenue. He was driving on a suspended license for DUI, and appeared to be intoxicated. Gonzales refused to take a field sobriety test but offered a breath sample when he registered a .13 BAC.

A juvenile passenger was released to his parents as Gonzales was arrested.
